Phoenix Performance Foundation

Our Corporate Purpose

The Phoenix Performance Foundation was organized primarily for the purpose of encouraging the creation of new music composition and performance. We seek to achieve our goals through philanthropic support of music composition and performance including the sponsoring of competitions, distributing awards and scholarships and commissioning new works. The Phoenix Performance Foundation is the sponsor for the annual Phoenix Percussion Composition Competition. The judges that evaluate the competition entries and select the finalist are members of the Phoenix Percussion board and are respected percussion composition professionals.
Phoenix Performance Foundation is organized under Delaware law as a non profit corporation for both charitable and educational purposes. Written approval under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code has been received.

All Donations Now Tax Deductible

All donations to the Phoenix Performance Foundation are now tax deductible on your federal and state tax returns. The Phoenix Performance Foundation has received approval from the IRS to operate as a Non-Profit Corporation under 501(c)(3) of the IRS code. This means that IRS considers donations to Phoenix Performance Foundation as tax deductible. You can view Phoenix Performance Foundation's 501(c)(3) approval letter from the IRS here.
